Rules and Regulations

The Department of Law has promulgated regulations that govern the conversion of specific types of securities – namely cooperative interests in realty such as cooperatives, condominiums, homeowners associations, timeshares and senior residential communities.  A brief description of the different Parts is set forth below.  Copies of the regulations may be obtained by visiting the New York State Department of State, Division of Administrative Rules website which provides access to the unofficial New York Codes, Rules and Regulations.  A link to the unofficial NYCRR may be accessed here
