NYPD Partners With COP Program To Combat Heroin Epidemic

Joined by Commissioner Bill Bratton, Attorney General Schneiderman announced that the NYPD will join his Community Overdose Prevention (COP) program. Using forfeitures from drug busts, COP will provide over $1.1 million to equip 19,500 NYPD patrol officers with the life-saving heroin antidote naloxone.
